Hello

I'm Naomi Schwartz

LMSW, CTRS-C

Hi, I’m Naomi Schwartz, a licensed masters clinical social worker who has been supporting children, adolescents, and families in various capacities for the past 17 years. I have experience working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents managing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions.

I understand how overwhelming anxiety and OCD can feel for the entire family, and I strive to provide a supportive, structured, and compassionate space where meaningful change can happen. I also help clients and families understand the neuroscience behind anxiety and emotional dysregulation in developmentally appropriate ways, empowering them to see symptoms not as personal flaws, but as patterns the brain has learned that can be changed with the right tools and support. I have experience working in both clinical and school settings, and this experience allows me to support families as they navigate challenges such as school refusal, academic stress, social anxiety, and 504’s/IEP’s, and while also collaborating with school systems when needed.

My approach is collaborative and evidence-based. I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also incorporate play-based and developmentally appropriate interventions for younger children, as well as SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) to support parents and caregivers in responding effectively to anxiety.

While anxiety and OCD can feel overwhelming, they do not define who a child is. With the right support and tools, my goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop the confidence to face challenges with greater independence and emotional strength.
